2. Keep bananas fresh for longer

Bananas seem to go from not ready to too ripe in the blink of an eye. You’re suddenly racing against a clock to eat it before it goes rotten. The solution? Simply wrap a bit of aluminium foil around the stems, singly or as a bunch, and your bananas will last several days longer.
3. Soften Brown Sugar
If your brown sugar has turned into a rock-solid lump, it’s tin foil to the rescue! Simply chip off a piece of sugar, wrap it in foil and bake it in the oven at 300°F (150° C) for just five minutes. Your brown sugar will be soft and ready to use.
